Training Overview

By partnering with industry, employers, non-profits, and government agencies, MassGREEN, along with the state’s 15 community colleges, delivers energy efficiency and clean-energy training courses to a full spectrum of students, including building contractors and unemployed construction trade workers looking to gain new green building skills, as well as unskilled or under-skilled workers who perform work for contractors.

Courses through MassGREEN are designed to provide basic to advanced weatherization training, weatherization crew chief traing, and energy management training, as well as assist entrepreneurs who might be interested in starting their own weatherization contracting business. Please go to “Current Course Offerings” for more information.

In addition to MassGREEN’s course offerings, several of the state’s community colleges offer a variety of energy efficiency and “green” energy training courses, either for credit or credit-free. Go to ” Community Colleges” under the “Current Course Offerings” section to find out which courses might be right for you.
