    Stormwater Pollution Public Education materials and Stormwater Prevention/Good Housekeeping for Municipal Operations Training

  • Two years experience developing and managing adult public stormwater education program for 40+ municipalities; designed to meet EPA NPDES requirements and included workshop and educational materials on topics such as:hazardous waste, recycling, water conservation and efficiency,

    watershed-friendly landscaping and lawn care, stormwater management,  rain gardens, stormwater retention pondmaintenance, ice and snow removal

  • Two years experience managing two $100,000 D.C. Watershed Schoolyard Conservation grants

    which involved: coordinating activities of four partner organizations, and

    twelve urban D.C. schools, facilitating teacher workshops, mentoring of teachers,

    and launching fifteen volunteer-based community events that established twelve

    Schoolyard Habitats. 2003-2004.

  • Two years experience teaching introductory college environmental science

    courses; significant focus on environmental issues and personal actions

    including hazardous waste, recycling, and toxin reduction

  • Assisted municipalities with the implementation rain gardens and stream

    buffers through small grant program co-coordination and project mentoring
