Home owners: Learn more about the Mass Save program and the great incentives for Massachusetts residents to make their homes more energy efficient

The Mass Save Home Energy Services program provides incentives for Massachusetts residents to make their homes more energy efficient. Incentives and rebates are available for air sealing, insulation, heating system replacement, water heater replacement, and other upgrades. To access these incentives, you must receive a no-cost Mass Save energy assessment before making any upgrades.

There are three ways to get started in the program:

Option 1: Call Mass Save to schedule a Home Energy Assessment
You can call Mass Save at 866-527-SAVE (7283) and schedule a Home Energy Assessment with a Mass Save Energy Specialist. During this call a Mass Save representative will schedule an assessment and walk you through the process of arranging for turn-key weatherization services based on recommended improvements.

Option 2: Choose a participating Independent Installation Contractor (IIC)
If you believe your home is in need of weatherization improvements and are interested in choosing a specific Mass Save Independent Installation Contractor (IIC) before you receive a Mass Save energy assessment, you may contact the contractor directly to discuss your weatherization needs and discuss how to proceed. You will be required to schedule a Home Energy Assessment prior to installation. After your Home Energy Assessment, you can work with the participating IIC of your choice to complete the installation of eligible weatherization improvements. For a list of participating contractors in your area, visit www.masssave.com and click on “For Your Home” and then on “Participating Contractors.”

Option 3: Find a participating Home Performance Contractor (HPC)
You can also contact a participating Mass Save Home Performance Contractor. The Home Performance Contractor can perform the Home Energy Assessment as well as any weatherization improvements you choose to undertake. For a list of participating contractors in your area, visit www.masssave.com and click on “For Your Home” and then on “Participating Contractors.”
